Cookie Policy

This page lists every cookie and similar technology used on proxpat.com, what each one is for, how long it lasts, and how to switch them off.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site recognise your browser on a later page view or a later visit. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels and tracking scripts — do much the same job, and this policy covers those too.

First-party cookies are set by proxpat.com. Third-party cookies are set by another company whose script runs on our pages, such as Google or Microsoft.

When cookies are set

To keep pages fast, our analytics and advertising scripts do not load with the initial page. They load after your first interaction with the page — a scroll, click, tap or key press — or shortly after the page finishes loading, whichever happens first. Until that point, only strictly necessary cookies exist.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to function and for our enquiry forms to work securely. They cannot be switched off through this site.

Analytics and performance

These help us understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck. This category includes Microsoft Clarity session replay, which records a reconstruction of your interaction with the page — mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and taps.

Advertising and measurement

We advertise on Google. These cookies let us see which campaigns lead to genuine enquiries, and where remarketing is active, allow PROXPAT adverts to be shown to you on other sites.

Do Not Track

There is no agreed industry standard for responding to browser Do Not Track signals, so this site does not currently respond to them. The controls above do work.
